A so called “nålhus” (in swedish) which translates to “needle house”. You store your needles by sticking them into the piece of fabric which will be protected by the ceramic case.
This nålhus is inspired by the ones traditionally made of reindeer horn by the Sami people – indigenous people of northern Scandinavia & Kola Peninsula of Russia.
It has the same patterns on both sides so there is no front or back.
Made of ceramics, wool fabric, leather and a waxed cotton cord. The cord is long enough to hang it for example in your belt.
Length of the “house”: 11,5 cm (4.5 in)
